비스트,미운사람.

heh. I'm right now having it on repeat c: Even though this was supposed to be out only on 11th June :/ Kind of accidentally heard the leaked version. In my defense : I REALLY THOUGHT IT WAS THE PREVIEW OR SOMETHING. But whatever, the songs pretty great EXCEPT for the english parts. I think the english lyrics are really too cheesy. I mean, Happy Day? seriously? But i can't seem to find Joker on the track :( I don't even think he's in there... But this song kind of reminds me Magic by Orange Caramel LOL. I don't know is it the effect when they sing together or what but i think i can hear Joker at the background. Pretty faint sigh... One pretty annoying thing about this song is that it's pretty tough for my to figure whose voice is whose. Their way of singing is that one person sing and then another just joins in all of a sudden. Like as if their voice merges together. bleh, i don't even have any idea what i'm saying.

Anyway, i just read this news on yahoo. Something about a Jc1 student writing or ranting about the Deputy PM. I'm not so sure about the details but the thing is the Jc1 student had to apologize because he wrote some vulgarities in that particular post.

Something like

“The participants made it extremely clear they were dissatisfied with DPM Teo- and when we asked about our concerns which we do not know what can be done to solved, he will give the f***ing ridiculous reply “What do you think (can be done)?”
“We are 17 years old with very little to no life experience and you want us to come up with policies for you? It is exactly because we don’t know what can be done we worry about the country. We seek your opinion. You gave us none.”

cr:yahoonews Honestly, i'm on the student's side and i don't even think he needs to apologize. Plus, people are just making a fuss out of it, particularly the adults.

One, it's his blog, he has the right to write what he wants. And plus, freedom of speech isn't it? Well, then here comes people telling us "Teenagers needs to realised they are responsible for the things they write, especially online"
Oh then you might as well say we should shut our mouth. Haven't you heard from the people around the world? Aren't we a little too reserved? Shouldn't we voice out more? And the only people preventing from us teenagers from voicing out their opinion is the older generation. The people with the   'power' to harm us. Because of this, we are afraid, thus many are not willing to be open up with their views.

Yea, the Jc1 student should have already known that his Topic was pretty sensitive but he wasn't even cussing at him. He was merely showing his anger be adding vulgarities in between his sentences.
"fucking ridiculous reply" , in other words, the reply was fucking ridiculous.

The thing i'm trying to state here is, i don't see why he needs to apologize at all. And i believed, in my view, he must have been pressurized to apologize seeing it was someone known in singapore...

For someone who has a loud voice, i don't think he actually initiated the apology. I believed he still strongly stands on his opinion.

And i read the comments on yahoo, people saying that he was definitely forced by the school to apologize. Somehow, from the looks from the schooling in singapore, this thought seems possible. I don't want to believe so but firstly, i doubt he actually wanted to apologize, and schooling in singapore was always strict, and if you were to be expelled from school, it is less likely for you to be able to survive in the future thus lead me to feel that it is possible that the school forced him. Either that or his parents.

I mean, people should see it from a teenager's point of view. We aren't so all high above like the adults with their laws and what nots.

And, according to the post, i would have had been angry too if someone whom we looked up to to help us solve our problems don't help us to do so. Of course, their aren't God so they can't answered it straight away but asking us 'What do you think can be done?' That's a little ridiculous.

Also, i would like to make a point that a blog is for us to rant and just talk about things that comes to our mind, so why is he in the wrong again for doing so? It's not like as if he posted pornography or what shit, but anyway i though that was allowed? o.0

Call me reckless for judging so quickly, but it's my point of view, you all need not to think so too.

Sigh, there's more for me to write because i'm really pissed with this but i've got to go soon :/

Another thing that came to my mind was the Sticker-pasting person. One thing i would like to say to her is that, I'll support her for it, again, i don't think she's wrong in anyway. I mean, except the 'This is my grandfather's road' that she painted on the road. That's guts but i think doing that would have fit in an Art street.
I don't see how the stickers could harm. Plus, it's really creative. One would wish to time travel, teleport. And i bet for people who are carefree, it would have made us smile when we saw it. Unless, of course the Wooden Boards we have in our city, these just can't seem to appreciate her artistic views. And it's not as if she anyhow pasted it. She even made the sticker the same size as the circular dent on the traffic light. This just tells me, her first thought wasn't to vandalize but to make Singapore seem a litter warmer (in the sense of character, as we already know, singapore is HOT) not so strict like what everyone thinks of.
And maximum charge was 3 years of jail just makes it more ridiculous. If she got that, i bet havoc will be at their front doors. Punishing someone for her artistic talents. Probably though, she should have asked for permission, but as we all know, she'll definitely be denied.

What's wrong with being unique? I bet, tourists would have found it amusing too if they saw it. That was something they don't see around at home isn't it?

One last thing, those flyers where people ask for rooms to rent, money lending, tuition, those were also sticked on the traffic lights. But yet, nobody cared to jail them for it. They just tore it off at most. That's just stupid. PLUS THOSE WERE TRULY UGLY ALRIGHT.

Sometimes i wonder the sense of some people.
