Title: hey fellas;frozen
Posted on: Tuesday, 3 December 2013 December 03, 2013

hey guys.
so it has been an extremely long time since i've posted a um, an appropriate post. hence, here i am updating about the days after Os. d- -18

So i've finally watched frozen yesterday!

God, the feels after the show is just so very over whelming. But before i do a little talk into the show, why tumblr why :

I swear, after looking at this, i can't stop wishing that one day disney will bring the characters together. i mean, THEY ARE PERFECT.

So, let's start.

Okay, frozen. Upon exiting the theatre, i'm like : " oh god, that was amazing, breath-taking."
And at so many times in the movie i was sitting at the edge of my seat, despite being only five rolls away from the screen. It was just so um, heart grabbing. When the movie started, i didn't want it to end, i so badly want to live in their world.

I was always a disney movie fan, but this, this was gorgeously wonderful. The magic, it's like it's 10x more.

And who do i prefer. Honestly, both Anna and Elsa are well too familiar to me...

But all in all, i prefer Elsa. Maybe it's me and the thing for platinum blonde.
Albeit, i also think, it's her character.

I just, it's like i can understand her (?) It's just so familiar.

How she's so afraid, how she yearn to be alone, yet fear to be lonely.
And being blamed for something she hadn't know and didn't know how she caused.
The way how people never could understand her.

And when Elsa was building her ice castle, and the way she smiled. I was so relief for her despite knowing the dramatic irony. the way how her character became so preppy was just great.

I swear, i was smiling when she was, and probably was frowning when she wasn't.

As for Anna,

She's still wonderful.

But all in all, i still prefer Elsa.

So, on with the movie.

Frozen was magnificent, magical, and a beauty. I was so into the movie, i didn't focus much on the little details and didn't think there was anything wrong with the movie.

Along with the movie comes the music. And to be honest, the too-much-singing in a movie to be called a movie. It felt alright for this show. And if a musical ever comes out for this version of the snow queen, i'm catching it.

Although the movie was great, and really, i don't want to point, this out. And if you've watched this, you may not think it's much of a big deal because truth be told, after finishing the movie, i felt it was just great and that's all.

Then, there's this
After going home, i kept thinking about the movie.

So there are a few antis:

One, things went on too fast. Maybe it's because it's animation? I don't know, i'm not very versed but then, i felt the movie moved too fast. It was probably only a few days since Elsa left the castle, how would they know she set Arendelle in eternal snow? I mean, it may just be probably a few days?

And, the way kristoff suddenly helped her, it's just to me, it's a little too fast. Anna just merely bought some tools and carrots and then he agreed to help her. And, couldn't they mention that kristoffknew she was a princess because they didn't. And they just went on and on. Maybe kristoff didn't even know that she was the princess. I mean it was the first time people of Arendelle saw the queen and the princess.

Also, Anna only left Arendelle for a day and then, she met kristoff, with kristoff saying his ice business is going down the drain because of the snow. I MEAN WHAT. IT'S ONLY LIKE A FEW HOURS.

Next,
the history of kristoff. It's missing A WHOLE CHUNK. I thought kristoff had the family of ice makers? They did show the young hans getting ice so whatever happened to the family? And then kristoff's stone family (trolls) . Why did they adopt him just like that? Hans followed the queen and king to the trolls and then he just met a young troll then all of a sudden when he grow up they became his family? SOMETHING IS MISSING HERE.

And when they found out that it was because elsa strucked anna that caused her hair to turn white they did not even mention the strand of hair that was white since young. They didnt mention of her lost of memories. Also when kristoff's stone family met the grown  up anna there was no recognition at all:(

I think that's about it. hahaha, actually i think that there were too little Elsa screen time hahahaha.

Although the flaws, keep in mind that it's a movie on sister love. So, maybe disney didn't want to focus so much on hans? i don't know. If you don't think too deep into it, you will still think this movie is great.

I personally will re watch it again and most likely when the movie comes out on iTunes, i'll go get it. I'll just keep rewatching, because honestly the music, the graphics, the story was amazing.

//

trying so hard to keep it hidden,
but still it was let loose.
hurt comes to others,
without you meaning to.
you feel safer alone
yet so very scared of loneliness
you build a new wall,
one too lively
but was better to people
yet, it was tiring. help.
