Today is the first blank page of a 365 page book. I'm writing it well. And I'll be.

New Year Resolutions:
1. Do not be a bitch
2. Do not be all self-centred
3. Do not be sarcastic of the world
4. Do not be a snob
5. Do not treat people like trash
6. Be good to everyone
7. Stop threatening people
8. Stop holding grudges
9. Stop feeling superior
10. Stop thinking you are on the top of the world
11. Ignore all the above resolutions, do all the opposite of them. Be a bitch, be self centred, hold grudges, threaten. Because i no longer give a damn on what people think. 2014 will be the year i start painting on my very empty canvas, and be what i want. If they want to hate me, go on. I'm no longer afraid.

So i spent my 010114 on watching Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

Beautiful things do not seek attention

And this reminded me of one of my friend's o level art project. And how it's actually so true. Also, it gives me little comfort and self confidence.


Honestly i didn't know Walter Mitty was someone who dealt with negatives, films. And this just made me feel closer to the movie seeing how i'm just beginning to start playing with film.

From the movie i also picked out something, maybe it wasn't meant to be but i felt that the movie was trying to tell us, to tell everyone that because of advancement in technology, people are all missing out on the really interesting and beautiful things nature and life has to offer.

Seeing how Sean and Walter uses film and their adventures, people are all so caught up into advanced technology they don't notice the breathtakingly beautiful images around.


Also, Walter Mitty had really great quirky humour in it and the movie was really realistic. Things like these happens around the world. There are people like the character, who lives a life that continuously repeats and there isn't any spark in their life. But then there are also people who seek to find every spark in the world.

It's just wonderful; truthfully, this is my favourite life movie. Very motivational and humorous/

There's just so many things to learn in the movie.

Plus, i am really sure that i saw singapore airlines in the movie at the airport scene but no one seems to agree...

Today was a great day, to be honest. I had my left eye twitching all day and according to chinese folklore, it's a good sign hahaha.

Went out to katong for breakfast then Walter Mitty afterwards to the airport for dinner. It was a good day really. May seem normal and boring but it's much more than what it seems, similar to walter mitty.
